Portrait of @Natalie_tiare is the first artwork in a series of oil portraits featuring snapshots of subjects’ Instagram Explore Pages. Tracking each like, follow, time spent looking at different subjects, using data from other apps and tracking browsing history,  the Instagram algorithm curates the Explore Page so that each person sees an individualized arrangement of content. On the surface, this portrait is colorful, charming, relatable and funny, yet its accuracy and uncanny familiarity warn that if our digital footprint knows our interests, social networks, behaviors and habits, perhaps it exposes us for all that we truly are.
